The top model in the three series, the computerized Bernette 38, has everything a creative sewer could ever desire. There are 394 stitches in all, including 8 buttonholes, 3 alphabets, 67 decorative stitches, and functional stitches like a stretch stitch for flexible textiles. There is a 7 mm maximum stitch width. The Bernette 38 features an LED sewing light, a needle threader, an automated and manual thread cutter, and other useful features including a speed regulator, start/stop, and needle stop up/down. A sizable extension table and eight presser feet (soles) are also provided.
